Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Policy

For the upcoming academic year, all students must use either an iPad or MacBook to align with our new learning software. Older models like the iPad Pro 2, iPad Air 3, and iPad 7 may not run the software efficiently, so please upgrade.

Important Notices

Canteen

The canteen will be serving food starting Tuesday, August 27. Students may bring cash or use a credit card to purchase items. Mobile Phones are not permitted.
A suggested amount to send or have available each day is 12 AED.

New Class Lists

Once again, class lists will change this year and students may find themselves in a new section. This is done to best meet the needs of our students and to ensure they make academic progress and according to the seat reservations. Our class lists will be shared with students on the day they return.

Bus Students

There will be no school bus service for the first week of school. Transportation service will start on the 2nd of September.

Should a student be seen with a mobile phone, it will be stored in a safe location until the end of the day when a parent must come to collect it.

Uniform

● All students are expected to be in full uniform on the first day.

● Uniform distribution at SMS is from August 16 to August 25

● Appointment times: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

● Uniform vouchers will be provided once you re-register your child.

● Your uniform voucher also must be presented when you pick up the uniform.

● Starting September 2nd, uniform appointments will be located at Threads in Burjuman Mall. You must complete the same process by setting up an appointment slot at www.threads.com to pick up the uniform at the Threads location. You must bring your voucher and QR code to pick up the uniforms.

● Students who have not received their uniform may wear black or navy trousers and a solid black, navy or gray shirt only and closed shoes. Other clothing including sandals, crocs, football shoes with studs, hoodies and kandoras are not permitted.
