Cost
Dubai SMS, like all Dubai international schools, is a private school, so parents of children enrolled in the school will need to pay tuition fees. The fees enable us to provide state-of-the-art modern facilities to develop the children’s learning, as well as get the help of some of the best teachers in Dubai.
We think clarity is key when it comes to tuition fees, so we charge:
- 18,295 AED (approximately 4,982 USD) for KG1 students
- 32,714 AED (approximately 8,908 USD) for Grade 12 pupils
Each year the price of tuition increases due to the increasing demands of the students, including the cost of uniforms, essential resources like school books, and the use of more technology in the laboratories.

Curriculum
Dubai SMS uses an American curriculum, offering largely the same lessons as schools in America and aligned with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), with some additions to the curriculum to allow students to learn more about the culture and language of Dubai, including developing knowledge of Arabic, Islam and Moral Education according to the Ministry of Education (MoE) curricula.
Like the British and American curricula used across international schools in Dubai, the lessons are taught in English.
Each year students are also graded on their school work with the standard A to F format, with A being top and F being the lowest score. The students will then receive a transcript of records following the GPA guidelines, to enable easy comprehension of their grades internationally, especially useful when pursuing further studies or careers abroad.

Facilities at Dubai SMS
Dubai School of Modern Skills understands the importance of your children’s well-being as much as their academic outcome for their future growth and success, which is why we’ve invested in modern, sophisticated facilities across both campuses to ensure the best is available for all students.
Children in grades 5 – 12 have separate campuses for boys and girls, each with specialty science and technology laboratories, a library, hydroponics garden, activity rooms, health clinics and canteens. Each campus also has a multipurpose hall for students to engage in activities that interest them.
Within the classrooms, students can experience personalized learning thanks to the small class sizes and modern technology used, as well as access to computer labs and art rooms for more interactive learning with high-quality tools.
Leading the way with modern technology facilities, Dubai SMS even has Robotics and AI equipment in the innovation hub to help students understand the value of technology in the modern world and foster an interest in a lucrative and growing industry.
The newly built cafeteria also has fresh food prepared daily onsite to maintain student’s health and well-being, to ensure happy, healthy and focused minds across campus.
Extracurricular Sports

School hours are shorter on Fridays to allow for students to attend Friday prayers, so extracurricular sports are not available on these days.
Support Facilities at Dubai SMS
Despite sports and educational facilities, children often need emotional or physical care, which is why Dubai SMS has modern health centers and medical care available across campus.
Each campus has school doctors and nurses to tend to any accidents and provide first aid where necessary during school hours. If further treatment is required, the clinic, which has a defibrillator, a nebulizer and oxygen apparatus refers students to other relevant medical practitioners.
There are also many health and safety procedures in place on campus that teachers and other staff members adhere to in order to maintain the well-being of students as much as possible, including having security onsite and providing transportation for students to and from campus with a trusted Emirati transportation company.
